Paul Peter Steinmetz, 81, of Darlington, died Friday, June 6, 2008, in a Darlington nursing facility. He was born January 30, 1927, in Scranton, Pennsylvannia, to the late John Steinmetz and the late Elsie Wolf Steinmetz. Mr. Steinmetz was predeceased by his parents, and a daughter; Heather Steinmetz. He was a member of the Florence Lion's Club, and a retired elementary school principal at Hatfield Elementary in Hatfield, PA. Among his survivors are: his wife Joan Adair Meier Steinmetz, daughters; Lynne (Larry) Woolston of Florence, and Cindy (Jeff) Moyer of Quakertown, PA, sons; Lori (Susan) Steinmetz of New Hampshire, and Duane Steinmetz of Florence, a sister, Bonnie Martini of Painted Post, NY, 7 grandchildren, and 2 great-grandchildren.
