Timmonsville, SC Paul "Bucky" B. Metts, Jr., 66, of Timmonsville, died on Monday, June 8, 2015, at his residence. He was born in Columbia, SC, a son of Verma Hutto Metts and the late Paul B. Metts, Sr. Bucky was a shop foreman with CR Jackson Company. He loved spending time in his home and with his family. He is survived by his mother; his wife, Jackie Powers Metts; two daughters, Tracy (Charles) Bedenbaugh of Lexington, SC, and Beverly (Ryan) Miles of Chapin, SC; a son, Casey (April) Conover of Lugoff, SC; a sister, Mary Wilcox, and a brother, James R. (Carol) Metts, both of Lexington, SC; and grandchildren, Hope Hanna and Kayla Poston, Ashton, Colt, Hope, Brian and Grace. A memorial service will be held at Cain-Calcutt-Stephens Funeral Home in Florence, SC, on Wednesday, June 10, 2015, beginning at 4:00 PM, with visitation immediately following, until 6:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the City of Florence Animal Shelter, 1434 McCurdy Road, Florence, SC 29506.
