A memorial service for Paul Martin Callozzo, husband of Denise Pinn Callozzo, will be at 4:00PM, Thursday, February 26, 2009, in St. Luke's Lutheran Church, conducted by Rev. Linda Anderson. Interment with military honors will be prior to the service at 2:00PM at Florence National Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00PM Wednesday at Cain Funeral Home. Mr. Callozzo, 60, died Friday, February 20, 2009, at his residence. He was born February 13, 1949, in Mt. Vernon, NY, to the late James Peo and Cecilia Theresa Davison Callozzo. He was a graduate of St. Margaret's Parochial School in 1963 and Bergan Catholic High School in 1967 and from Francis Marion University with a Degree in Psychology. Mr. Callozzo was a member of Saint Luke Lutheran Church and had worked as a Radiologic Tech at McLeod Hospital. He served in the US Army as a Green Beret in 7th Special Forces. Surviving, in addition to his wife, are: son, Martin Baxter Callozzo; and daughters, Amanda Miriam Callozzo, Cecilia Grace Callozzo, all of Florence, and Ginger Ferranzano, of NY; two grandchildren; brothers, Peter (Susan) Callozzo of Tempe, AZ, and Philip Callozzo of Pearl River, NY; sisters, Elizabeth Stone of Broomall, PA, Emily (Chris) Albergo of Penfield, NY, and Elaine (Arthur) Laurent of Tuxedo, NY.
