Paul Gregory Allen, 64, of Florence, S.C., passed away on Saturday, October 15, 2016 at his residence. Born in Baltimore, MD, he was a son of Alberta Tranter Allen and the late Harry Sholar Allen, Jr. Paul graduated from West Florence High School and after graduation he served in the US Army. He worked in the field of auto sales for more than thirty years. He is survived by his mother of Florence, S.C., three brothers, Dr. Harry Sholar Allen, III (Lisa) of Florence, S.C.; David Mitchell Allen (Anita) of Florence, S.C.; John Kenneth Allen (Kaye) of Hartsville, S.C.; one niece, Elizabeth Louise Allen (fiance' James P. Bishop, Jr.); one nephew, Harry Sholar Allen, IV (Amanda), and one great-niece, Olivia Claire Allen. A memorial service will be held Tuesday, October 18, 2016 at 11:00 A.M. in the chapel of Cain Calcutt-Stephens Funeral Home. The family will receive friends following the service.
