Patty Helen Davis of Florence, passed away on Monday, November 4, 2024.  She was born in Florence, a daughter of the late Doris "Cat" McCutcheon Davis and William M. Davis, Jr.    In addition to her parents, Patty is predeceased by her husband, Wallie Avant.

Patty worked as a delivery driver for Case Used Parts.  She loved to be out and about, never liked to stay in the house.  She enjoyed thrift shopping and gossiping with her best friend, Patricia Marsh.

Surviving are her children, Dustyn Avant, Danielle Poston, Robin Avant, Jaquiz Miles and Marcell Walker; eleven grandchildren, Chance McDaniel, Jonathan Williams, Jr, Nova Davis, Mariyah Gregg, Zaria Martinbeault, Amari McKenzie, Arianna McDaniel, Brylee McDaniel, Kayden McDaniel, Mason McDaniel and Maddox McDaniel; step-father, Melvin "Pop" McCutcheon, Sr; siblings, Melvin McCutcheon, Marshall McCutcheon, Linda Kay Speight, Gladys Mae Davis, Bubba Davis, and Evelyn Avant; sister-in-law, Fran Davis; and her best friend, Patricia Marsh.

A visitation will be held on Friday, November 8, 2024 from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at Cain Calcutt Funeral Home.
