Pattie Lynn Watford, a loving mother, grandmother, and servant of the Lord, passed away peacefully on April 18, 2024, at the age of 77.

Born on August 9, 1946, in Nassau County, New York, Pattie moved shortly thereafter with her family to Florence, South Carolina, where she would spend the rest of her life. She graduated from McClenaghan High School in 1962 and worked at DuPont, until retiring after a long and dedicated career with the company.  During her career, Pattie also worked at Blue Cross Blue Shield and Grace Baptist Church.

Family was always important to Pattie. She was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Frances Kurtz. She is survived by her two sons, Christopher Allen Watford (52) and Gregory Scott Watford (46); three grandchildren, Jordan Gil Floyd (28), Nathan Yale Watford (14), Grant Franklin Watford (10), and a lifetime of cherished memories.

In addition to spending time with family, Pattie enjoyed traveling with friends. She loved exploring new places, meeting new people and creating lasting memories along the way.

A funeral service, directed by Cain Calcutt Funeral Home, will be held on Saturday, April 27th, 2024, at 11:00 am at Calvary Baptist Church in Florence, with burial to follow at Mount Hope Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 10:00 until 11:00 AM at the church just prior to the service.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Calvary Baptist Church.
