Patricia Gordon Jacobs, 73, of Florence, SC, passed away on Wednesday, September 27, 2017, after an illness. She was born in Mobile, AL, daughter of the late Leslie Waters Gordon and Lola Mae Cooper Gordon. Pat worked in various professional capacities in many different fields such as banking, bookkeeping, real estate, and business consulting. She was passionate about her family, especially her grandchildren. She is survived by her husband, Charles Richard "Dick"Jacobs; son, Charles "Chuck" Richard Jacobs, II. (Jenny) of Florence; daughter, Lynn Jacobs Reith (Ron) of Columbus, OH; grandchildren, Campbell, Olivia and Ward Jacobs of Florence; two brothers, Leslie Wayne Gordon (Dinah) of Birmingham, AL and Jerry Don Gordon of Fair Hope, AL; and brother-in-law, George Cumming of Amarillo, TX. A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, September 29, 2017, in the Chapel of Cain Calcutt-Stephens Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at the funeral home immediately following the service.
