Florence, SC Pannee "Ann" Miles-Wise, 58, of Florence, passed away on Tuesday, December 25, 2012 at MUSC in Charleston, SC. She was born in Bangkok, Thailand to the late Pin Kranphansert and CHA-ON Mingmongkol. Ann moved to the United States in 1974. She began her career at Fibers Industries as a Lab technician, and then became head canteen manager. In the mid 1980's she earned her cosmetology certification and worked at various salons in Florence. She loved to entertain and cook Thai food for all her friends and family and in turn decided to open her own restaurant. Ann's Kitchen with a Taste of Thai opened in January 1997 and she was still the owner/operator/head chef at the time of her passing. Ann is survived by her husband, Brett Wise; her daughter, Joy (Adam) Kieffer of Florence, SC; 2 beautiful granddaughters, Jordyn and Anna-Lauryn Kieffer; her step-son, Leighton Wise of Hartsville, SC; and her sister, Thoi Kazilieris of Darlington, SC. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, December 29, 2012 at Hoffmeyer Road Baptist Church. Visitation will be in the Reception Hall immediately following the service.
