A memorial service for Mr. Nigel Parkin will be at 6:00 PM Wednesday August 4, 2010 in Cain Funeral Home conducted by the Rev. Glenn Carter. Mr. Parkin, 45, died July 23, 2010, in McLeod Hospice House. Nigel was born September 3, 1964 in Barnsley, England to Sheilah Young Parkin and the late Albert Arthur Parkin. Nigel was a 1986 Graduate of Barnsley College of Technology. He was and employee ESAB Welding and Cutting Products for 10 years as a Gas Equipment Engineer. Surviving, in addition to his mother, of Barnsley, South Yorkshire, England are: brother, Robert Parkin and nephew, Ryan Parkin of Doncaster, South Yorkshire, England, his special friend and companion, Melissa Banks and his faithful 4 legged friends; Tippi, Biscuit and Karma.
