A funeral service for Miram Edwards Yarborough Wilkinson, will be 2:00PM, Friday, February 6, 2009, in Calvary Baptist Church conducted by Rev. W. L. Collins, Rev. Keith Harrell and Rev. Mike Mills. Entombment in Florence Memorial Gardens Mausoleum. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00PM Thursday at Cain Funeral Home. Mrs. Wilkinson, 79, of Richmond, IN formerly of Florence, died Friday, January 30, 2009. She was born July 20, 1929, in Bladen County, NC , to the late Hanson J. and Gussie Deaver Edwards. She was also predeceased by her first husband, Lewis Edwin "Ed" Yarborough and a brother, Hanson J. "Sonny" Edwards. She was a graduate of Bladenboro N.C. High School, class of 1948. She was employed by City Optical Co. of Wilmington, NC. Mrs. Wilkinson was a member of Calvary Baptist Church since 1968, Beta Sigma Phi, The Order of the Eastern Star and The Daughters of the Confederacy. Surviving are: husband,Clarence Norman "Wilkie" Wilkinson of Richmond, IN, son, Rev. Edwin H. (Kimberly Newman) Yarborough of Garner, NC; grandchild, Ashley Victoria Yarborough of Clayton, NC; sister-in-law, Jo Ann Edwards of Livingston, LA and step-son Chris (Jan) Wilkinson of Richmond, IN
