A memorial service for Mildred Haney Sutton, wife of Lee Maxwell Sutton, will be at 2:00 pm, Saturday, March 29, 2008, in Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witness with Tony Baxley officiating. Cain Funeral Home is assisting the family. Mrs. Sutton, 74, of Florence, died Tuesday, March 25, 2008, in McLeod Regional Medical Center. She was born June 18, 1933, in Nantahala, NC, to the late Homer and Vonnie Haney. She was preceded in death by sons, William D. Leftridge, Jr. and Donald A. Leftridge and daughter, Deborah E. Leftridge. She was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses. Surviving, in addition to her husband, are: son, Daniel (Melinda) B. Leftridge of Florence; daughters, Kathrine (Don) D. Cannon of Fayetteville, NC, April M. Yarborough of Florence, and Danielle L. Couture of Fayetteville, NC; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
