A graveside service for Mildred Hanna Grimes, widow of Berry M. Grimes, Jr., will be at 11:00AM Friday May 7, 2010 in Florence Memorial Gardens conducted by Rev. Jim Crooks. The family will receicve friends Thursday May 6 from 6:00-8:00PM at Cain Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to Florence Area Humane Society, 1007 Stockade Drive, Florence, SC 29506. Mrs. Grimes, 86, died Tuesday May 4, 2010, in Laurel Gardens Asisited Living. She was born, January 27, 1924 in Johnsonville, SC, to the late Bert and Hester Poston Hanna. Surviving are: son, George W. (Lynn L.) Grimes of Blythewood, SC; daughter, Patricia A. (Boe) White of Florence; two grandchildren - George W. "Bert" Grimes and William P. "Billy" Grimes; great-grandchild, Erin Rebecca Grimes; brother - John S. Hanna of Florence.
