Mildred Oliver Galloway, 87, of Florence, S.C., died Thursday, May 28, 2015 at Life Care Center in Columbia, S.C. She was born in Florence, S.C., daughter of the late Miner and Kathleen Rogers Oliver. Mildred was a loving wife and mother, who enjoyed the company of her friends and family. She also spent time fishing, cooking, and doting on her pets. She is survived by two children, Charles E. Galloway, Jr. of Florence, S.C.; Marilyn Hobson of Salisbury, N.C.; one grandson, Brian Hobson of Elgin, S.C. and one granddaughter, Natalie Young of North Carolina. A memorial service will be held Wednesday, June 3,,2015 at 6:00 P.M. at Cain-Calcutt-Stephens Funeral Home. The family will receive friends following the service. Cain-Calcutt-Stephens Funeral Home is assisting the family.
