Michael Purvis, 65, of Florence, SC, passed away on Thursday, March 3, 2022.  He was born in Darlington, SC, a son of the late Mary and Wesley Purvis.  He is also predeceased by a son, Timothy Ryan Purvis.  Michael was a great husband and father.  He enjoyed carpentry and was an avid motorcycle rider.  He proudly rode with the Patriot Guard.

He is survived by his wife, Betty Mahoney and two sons, Michael D. Purvis and Sean C. Purvis.

A memorial service will be held at 4:00 PM on Tuesday, March 15, 2022 in the chapel of Cain Calcutt Funeral Home.
