A memorial mass for Michael D. Lines will be at 4:00PM today in St. Anthony Catholic Church conducted by Father Art Dalupang. Visitation will follow the service at the church. Rather then flowers, memorials may be made to the Jacob and Hayden Lines Assistance Fund C/O any Wachovia Bank. Mr. Lines, 53, died Sunday April 5, 2009 at his residence. He was born September 5, 1955 in Virginia Beach, VA to the late Henry "Russell" and Patricia Gussey Lines. Mr. Lines was a Safety Inspector for Smurfit-Stone Container Corp. He was an Eagle Scout and coached sports at McLeod Park. He was a sincerely honest family man who devoted his life to raising his three sons and daughter. Surviving are: sons Jacob and Hayden Lines of Effingham and Jason Lines of Goose Creek; step-daughter, Christina Willard-Logan of Charleston; sister, Rose Lines of NY; step-mother, Juanita Lines of Charleston; father and mother-in-law, Fran and Estelle Logan of Charleston; sister-in-law, Patty Howell of Greer; nephews, Logan, Tyler and Luke Howell and close friends, EJ, Eric and Jon.
