Michael David Kunst, 37, of Florence, SC, passed away on Saturday, October 29, 2022.  He was born in Austria, Wels, Linzer Strabe, the son of Stephen and Gabriele Haas Kunst.  Michael received his BA while in Austria and then worked in the United States at Thermo Fisher Scientific as a manager since 2019.  He is of the Catholic faith, loved fireworks and his family, especially his little girl, Carolina.

Surviving in addition to his parents is his loving wife of 12 years, Doris Elizabeth Ecker Kunst; daughter, Carolina Felicia Kunst; two sisters, Claudia Schmitt and Andrea Umgeher (Thomas); two brothers-in-law, Herbert Ecker (Aga) and Wolfgang Ecker (Sabine); and many friends, co-workers and extended family.

The family will receive friends from 3:00 until 5:00 PM on Saturday, November 5, 2022, at Michael's home.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.
