Meredith Rampey Williams, 67, of Florence, SC, passed away on Tuesday, August 4, 2020.  He was born in Florence County, a son of the late Marion H. Williams, Jr. and the late Imogene Payne Williams.

Mr. Williams graduated from Southside High School and attended Francis Marion University.  He was formerly employed with Southern Bell for many years and then worked for Maxicare in Mecklenburg County until he became disabled.  He was an accomplished pianist and loved gardening and his chickens.

He is survived by a son, Jason Trinity (Nickie) and their children, Max and Ava-Grace Rhyne; one sister, Susan McMillan; three brothers, Randell (Jenny) Williams, Clay (Gregg) Williams and Chris (Vicki) Williams; two nephews, Daniel Miles and John Randell (Allyn) Williams, Jr.; three nieces, Christina (Jason) Kea, Emily Williams (Ryan) Hicks, Jennifer-Grace Williams (Mike) Boyer;  six great-nephews and four great-nieces.

A family-led memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, August 8, 2020, in the Mount Hope Cemetery Mausoleum Chapel.  A private Entombment was held on Wednesday.  Cain Calcutt Funeral Home is honored to serve the Williams family.
