A funeral service for Melba Ann Fitts, will be at 3:00 PM, Tuesday, October 14, 2008, in Bethea Baptist Home Chapel. Family members will receive friends Tuesday, October 14 2-3 PM at the Bethea Baptist Home Chapel. Ms. Fitts, 78, of Darlington, SC, died Sunday, October 12, 2008, in Bethea Baptist Health Care. She was born August 16, 1930, in Ionia County, MI. Among her survivors are: Son, Jeff (Gina) Garrard of Summerville, SC; Grandchildren, Jami Garrard, and Jill G. Stern; Brother, Donald Wolfert of Ionia, MI, Great-Grandchild, Jace Garrard Stern.
