Florence, SC Mary Doris Edmonds, 83, of Florence, SC, died on Wednesday, June 25, 2014, at Carolinas Hospital. She was born in Coward, SC, the daughter of the late Jessie and Linnie Mae Evans. Mrs. Edmonds was a very devoted and loving mother and grandmother. She volunteered with McLeod Hospice. Doris is predeceased by her parents, her husband, Sam Edmonds and two daughters, Stephanie Anne Littleton and Susan Elizabeth Hammond. She is survived by daughters, Laurie Anne Lowe of Florence, SC and Sandra (Mike) Weddington of Myrtle Beach, SC, and a granddaughter, Ashley Weddington of Myrtle Beach, SC. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials to be made to a charity of one's choice. A private service will be held at Florence Memorial Gardens, directed by Cain Funeral Home.
