Florence, SC Martha Meshaw, 68, of Florence, SC, died on Tuesday, 4/30/2013, at Heritage Nursing Home of Florence. Martha was born in Rome, Georgia, a daughter of the late Lois Katheryn and Charles Robert Baugham, Jr. Martha was a teacher and taught 13 years in Wilmington, NC, 20 years in Timmonsville, SC and ended her career as an English teacher in the IB program at Wilson High School in Florence, SC. She was loved by her students and will be missed. Martha is survived by her sons, James "Jim" J. Meshaw of Hartsville, SC, Steven C. Meshaw of Wilmington, NC, and John R. Meshaw of Royston, GA; her brother, Charles R. Baugham of Atlanta, GA; grandchildren, Steven C. Meshaw, II, Mary Meshaw Montgomery, Jessi L. Meshaw, Michael Cates Meshaw, all of Wilmington, NC, John Alexander Meshaw and Nicholas James Meshaw, both of Hartsville, SC. Visitation will begin at 10:00 Saturday May 11 at Lamb's Chapel Christian Center 3514 Southborough Rd., Florence, SC 29501, followed by memorial service beginning at 10:30 AM, also at Lamb's Chapel. Following the memorial service, Lamb's Chapel will conduct additional visitation for an approximately 30 minutes. Cain Funeral Home is assisting the family.
