Martha Carol Fraser Cheney, 77, of Florence, SC, passed away on Tuesday, November 14, 2023.  She was born in Florence, the daughter of the late Lonnie Frasier and Izuma Tomlinson Irvin.  She is also predeceased by her husband, William "Bill" Bellinger Cheney, III.

Martha was a member of Peace Free Will Baptist Church.  She was very proud that she lived in Vienna for several years and enjoyed traveling around the world 3 times.  She was a member of TOPS, was an avid card player with her friends and loved dogs.

Surviving is her son, William "Bill" Bellinger Cheney, IV and his wife Emily.

A committal service, directed by Cain Calcutt Funeral Home, will be held at 10:00 AM on Monday, November 20, 2023 at the Florence National Cemetery.  A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM at Peace Free Will Baptist Church.  The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM at the church prior to the service.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Florence Area Humane Society.
