Marjorie C. Brammer, 71, of Florence, SC, passed away on Tuesday, July 30, 2024.  She was born in Rocky Mount, NC, a daughter of the late Clarence and Eunice Marjorie Hayes Cumbia.  She is also predeceased by a sister, Brenda Cook (Carrell).  Marjorie graduated from Francis Marion College and enjoyed a long career with the Department of Social Services in Bishopville and later in Community Long Term Care doing social work and helping others in need.  She was a 1994 liver transplant recipient.  She enjoyed crocheting, needlework, baking, flower planting and decorating.

Surviving is her husband of 31 years, George G. Brammer; son, Michael Saliba and a granddaughter, Anna Saliba; two brothers, David Cumbia (Karen) and Steve Cumbia (Lucie); a sister, Judith Cumbia; and a number of nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at 3:00 PM on Saturday, August 17, 2024 at Cain Calcutt Funeral Home.  The family will receive friends from 2:00 until 3:00 PM at the funeral home prior to the service.
