Florence, SC Marion Clyde Gibson, 74, of Florence, SC, died Thursday, March 28, 2013, at McLeod Hospice House in Florence, SC. He was born in Myrtle Beach, SC, a son of the late William and Dorothy Chestnut Gibson. Survivors include his wife, Patricia Chapman Gibson; a son, Cosmo O. Gibson of Florence, SC; 3 daughters - Belinda (David) Flowers of Summerton, SC, Jennifer (Norman) Belton of Denver, NC, and Candace Jones of Kanapolis, NC; 1 Brother - John Gibson of Columbia, SC; 9 Grandchildren - Brooke Flowers, Douglas Flowers, Cody Wells, Zachery Jones, Casey Jones, Joseph Dickens, Chelsea Dickens, Madison Belton and Jazelle C. Gibson; 1 Great-Grandchild - Brayden Wells; 2 Special Aunts - Jacqueline Thigpen and Hope Paschal, both of Florence, SC. A memorial service will be held at 4:00 pm Saturday, March 30, 2013, at Cain Funeral Home. The family will receive friends Saturday 3:00 pm-4:00 pm prior to the service.
