Obituary

Marion Terrell Foxworth, Sr., beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and

friend, passed away on August 30, 2024, in Florence, South Carolina. He was born

on January 16, 1945, to Marion Luther and Miriam Evans Foxworth.

‍Terrell was raised in Pamplico, SC. He was the oldest of four siblings and played

football for Hannah-Pamplico High School. After graduating from High School,

Terrell met his wonderful wife, Frankie Cox Foxworth while on a trip to the beach.

Together, they danced through life for 58 years.

Terrell served his country in the United States National Guard and had a

successful career with Phillip Morris USA. He and Frankie settled in Fort Mill, SC

and raised two children. After 31 years of service, he retired and moved back to

Florence, SC.

Terrell's life was rich with hobbies that reflected his love for life and his close

relationship with God. He was always open to trying new things from riding

motorcycles, photography, beach dancing, weightlifting, and his famous left-

handed golf swing. But his greatest passions were God, golf, and his grandkids. ‍

He is survived by his wife, Frankie; children, Marion Terrell (Terry) Foxworth, Jr.

(Nicole) and Tracy Foxworth; grandchildren Morgan, Signe, and Rion; sisters,

Karen Shannon and Fran Thayer; sister in laws, Pat Burton and Shirrie Tiller

(Barry); numerous nieces and nephews; and his three granddogs, Stanley, George,

and Jefferson.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Bruce.
