Marie Kirby Streett, 88, of Florence, SC, passed away on Monday, April 22, 2019, at McLeod Hospice House.  She was born in Darlington County, a daughter of the late Leland and Eva Mae Welch Kirby.  She is also predeceased by her husband, James Walter Streett; a son, Jimmy Leon Streett; stepson, Raleigh Walter Streett (Faye); a brother, Bob Kirby and a sister, Annie Ruth Snipes.

She worked at Young's Pecans for many years.  She loved working in her garden and loved animals.

Mrs. Streett is survived by two grandsons, Jamie Leon Streett and his mother Cheryl Anderson, and Justin Leland Streett (Melissa); daughter in law, Beth Streett; three granddaughters, Jenna Elizabeth Streett, Anissa Gulledge (Kenneth), and Andrea Streett Waldron (William); brother, Fred Kirby (Nivia) and a sister, Betty Sturkie; a special niece, Linda Dubose (Glen); twelve great grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren with one on the way; and a number of nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at 6 PM on Thursday, April 25, 2019, in the chapel of Cain Calcutt Funeral Home.  The family will receive friends until 8 PM following the service at the funeral home.
