Margaret Phyllis Blackmer Edick 1954-2011 My mother. Wow. How do I put into words the love I have lost here on Earth but have gained multitudes in spirit. Like when a father gives his daughter's hand in marriage-Our Father blessed me with her as a mother and best friend and now I have given my mother's hand to her Father to live out eternity with Him. Words cannot reach my love for her and my heart aches to hold her again. Such a complex woman, my mother made me who I am today and forever more. God's plan for us is unfathomable and all I can do is open my heart to hear His whispers now. She is home. Special heartfelt gratitude to McLeod Cancer Clinic, Hospice Home Health and Hospice House nurses, staff and caregivers-and to you, Dr. James Smith, thank you for your loving kindness and support.
