A funeral service for Margaret Morrow Albergotti, wife of Charles D. "Dan" Albergotti, will be at 11:00AM, Thursday, May 29, 2008, in Central United Methodist Church, conducted by Rev. Tom Pietla and her brother, Rev. M. B. Morrow, Jr. Interment will follow at Mount Hope Cemetery. Members of the Golden K Kiwanis Club and the Christian Family Sunday School Class will serve as Honorary Pall Bearers. The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 Wednesday May 28, 2008 at Cain Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to Central United Methodist Church, 225 W. Cheves Street, Florence, SC 29501 or the charity of one's choice. Mrs. Albergotti, 81, died Monday, May 26, 2008, in a local hospital. She was born September 18, 1926, in Laurens County, SC, to the late Maurice Bernard and Mary Elizabeth Davis Morrow. She was predeceased by a sister, Martha Morrow Hunt and brother, Ralph Dean Morrow. She was a 1943 graduate of Edmunds High School , Sumter, and of Limestone College, class of 1947. She was named Miss Edmunds High and in college served as President of the Junior Class and Vice President of Student Government. She worked for the Department of Social Services in Sumter prior to her marriage. Margaret and Dan lived in St. Matthews for 16 years before coming to Florence in 1968. She was a faithful member of Central United Methodist Church and the Christian Family SS Class. She was a devoted wife and loving mother, and was highly admired by many in the community. Surviving, in addition to her husband of 59 years, are: daughters, Martha Morrow Albergotti and Mary Blanche Albergotti (Julian B.) Fowler both of Florence; son, Dr. Charles D. Albergotti, III of Conway; grandchildren, Jonathan Dantzler Shugart and Ginny Lynn Shugart; brother, Rev. M. B. Morrow, Jr. of Gaffney, SC;
