A memorial service for Mack Melton Williams will be held Wednesday, January 3, 2024 in the Cain Calcutt Funeral Home Chapel at 512 2nd Loop Road, Florence, SC 29505.  The service will begin at 2:00 PM with visitation 1 hour prior at 1:00 PM.

Mr. Williams "Melton" died December 24, 2023.  He was born in Georgetown County to Montgomery and Leila Collins Williams on March 3, 1938.  He was predeceased by his parents; his wife, Jeanette K. Williams; sisters, Jeanette and Reba; and brothers, Sam, Darvis, Hildridge, A.P. and John.  Mr. Williams was retired from Wellman Inc. in Johnsonville, SC.

Surviving are his daughters, Sonja W. Hooks (Robert) of Hemingway, SC and Melanie W. Cribb of Florence, SC; grandchildren, Spenser Hooks of Hemingway and Hillary Hooks Rowe (Colby) of Myrtle Beach; a brother, Jimmy Williams (Cheryl) of Hemingway; a sister, Daisy Foreman of Charleston; and a special friend, Missy Menard, who brought so much happiness to his life the last couple of months.
