Lucious Dana Sapp, 62, of Timmonsville, SC, passed away on Wednesday, May 16, 2018, at Carolinas Hospital. He was born in Douglas, GA, a son of the late Lucious and Margaret McClendon Sapp. He is also predeceased by a sister, Pam "Panzy" Wright. Mr. Sapp worked for Motorola for 22 years and had 2 patents for them. He was a member of Christian Assembly Church and he had a passion for fishing. He is survived by his wife, Marlene Lucy Calabrese Sapp; three sons, Christopher Sapp, Ryan (Amy Yarborough) Sapp and Brandon Sapp; and one daughter, Danielle (Darren Barr) Sapp; two grandsons, Liam Sapp and Connor Barr; and one granddaughter, Autumn Barr. A church led memorial service will be held at 8 PM on Saturday, May 26, 2018, at Christian Assembly Church. The family will receive friends at the church immediately following the service.
