A memorial service for Lola Ann Simmons, wife of Danny Lee Simmons will be held 6:00PM tonight at Shiloh Chapel in Oak Grove conducted by Pastor Buddy Wiggins. Mrs. Simmons, 53, died Monday, December 15, 2008, in McLeod Regional Medical Center. She was born October 10, 1955, in Charlotte, NC, to the late Roy Franklin and Mildred Ruth Little Cochran. She was a member of Shiloh Baptist Church in Oak Grove. Surviving, in addition to her husband, are: step-sons, Josh Simmons of Latta, SC and Danny L. Simmons, Jr. of Jessup, GA; step-daughter, Paula A. Strickland of Jessup, GA; step-granddaughter, Jessica Strickland; brothers, Edward Cochran, Timothy Cochran and Roy Johnny Cochran all of Charlotte, NC.
