A funeral service for Mrs. Lois Hyman Carnell will be at 10:00AM, Wednesday December 15, 2010 at Unity Baptist Church, conducted by the Rev. Charles Larrimore and Rev. Glenn Carter. Entombment will be in Florence Memorial Gardens Mausoleum. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 6:00-8:00PM at Cain Funeral Home. Mrs. Carnell, 84, died December 12, 2010, in Florence. She was born April 26, 1926, in Pamplico, SC, to the late Bazzie and Delta Hanna Hyman. She was predeceased by her husband, Hosey LeRoy Carnell, and her parents. Lois was a member of Unity Baptist Church of Florence, SC. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. Survivors include: son, Marty (Susan) Carnell of Wando, SC; daughters, Bonnie (Charles) Hoffman of Florence, SC, and Delta Overton of Charlotte, NC; grandchildren, Ben Carnell, John Carnell, Jay Buzbee, Perrin Collins, Christopher Collins, Beth Michelow, and Rod Overton; sister, Sybil Kennedy of Florence; and 5 great-grandchildren.
