A funeral service for Lois Ann Anderson Lane Carraway will be at 2:00pm, Wednesday, November 3, 2010, in Cain Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in Garden of Memories Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00pm, Tuesday at the funeral home. Mrs. Carraway, 62, died October 31, 2010. She was born December 19, 1947, in Cerro Gordo, NC, to the late Evans and Lora Griffin Anderson. She was predeceased by her parents, and a son, Michael William Lane. Surviving in addition to her husband, Alton Carraway, Sr are: sons, Raymond L. Lane, Mark E. Lane, and Alton Carraway Jr.; daughters, Connie L. Cromer, and Dawn Horries; sister, Brenda Allen; brothers, Donny Anderson, Mitchell Anderson, Ronald Anderson, Jimmy Griffin, and Leroy Anderson; 9 grandchildren; and 6 great-grandchildren.
