Linda Riley Siptroth, 62, of Florence, passed away on Tuesday, October 8, 2013 with her loving family by her side. Mrs. Siptroth was born in Georgia on January 29, 1951, a daughter of the late Huey and Bessie Harrison Riley. She is preceded in death in addition to her parents by her husband, Sidney Siptroth; a son, Chad Scales; and two sisters, Jettie Transau and Dorothy Transau. Surviving are her children, Trenice (Teresa) Scales, Susanne Faile, and Lisa Scales; a sister, Sandra Riley DeArman; a brother of Chris Riley; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews. A celebration of life service will be held on Sunday, October 13, 2013 at 1:00 pm at the home of Frankie Nealy, 632 Poor Farm Road, Florence, SC 29505.
