Linda Lewis Munn age 67 went home to be with her Lord and Savior Saturday, June 3rd while surrounded by loved ones after a twelve year struggle with cancer. Those quality years were made possible by the grace and mercy of the Lord, an amazing place called Cancer Center Treatments of America, and the prayers of His saints. Linda Munn was born in Florence on May 11th, 1950. She grew up in Blackville, SC and moved back to Florence in 1963. She attended McClenaghan High School. Preceding her in death is her mother and father Juanita and J. T. Lewis. Surviving her are her husband James "Jimmy" Munn, her sisters Rhonda Johnson (David) and Brenda McElveen (Bob), her children Pamela Kann and James Munn, Jr (Julie), grandchildren Russell Gottula(Becca), Zachary Gottula (Amber), Matthew Gottula, Katelyn Munn, and Madison Munn, and great-grandson Brody Gottula. Linda Munn held many positions in her life, but her favorite by far was teaching computer classes at Poynor Adult Education Center. She was a member of the Church at Parkland. We will celebrate Linda's life Wednesday, June 7th 2:00 pm at the Church at Parkland, 1302 Cashua Drive and receive friends immediately following the service.
