Florence, SC Linda Carter Hopkins, 63, of Florence, SC, died on Tuesday, September 3, 2013, at her residence. Linda was born in Florence, SC, a daughter of the late Thomas Jerome and Doris Smith Carter. She is survived by her daughter, Kensley Ledford of Greenwood, SC; sisters, Vicki Strother and Jerri Kennedy, both of Florence, SC; grandchildren, Erin Nicole Turner and Ethan Glenn Turner; and several nieces and nephews. The family will hold a private service at a later date. Cain Funeral Home is assisting the family.
