A funeral service for Lillie Mae Pauley Vealey, widow of Woodrow C. Vealey will be at 1:00PM Monday in the Chapel of Florence Baptist Temple conducted by Rev. Dr. Bill Monroe and Rev. Kent Kendall. Interment will follow in Mt. Hope Cemetery. The family will receive friends tonight from 6:00-8:00PM at Cain Funeral Home. Mrs. Vealey, 86, died Thursday September 11, 2009, in a local hospital. She was born, April 7, 1923 in Sharon, WV to the late Dennie and Elizabeth Stone Vealey. Mrs. Vealey retired as a cook for East Bank High School in Kanawha Co., WV. She was a member of Florence Baptist Temple. Surviving are: son, Michael W. (Jennifer) Vealey of Wade, NC; Grandsons, Michael D. Vealey and Matthew R. (Megan) Vealey both of FL; brother, Jess Willard Pauley of Kanawha City, WV.
