LeRoy C. Matthews, 75, of Florence, S.C., died Saturday, October 1, 2011 at his residence. He was born in Florence County, a son of the late Harvey and Sara Hutchinson Matthews. He is predeceased by his parents, two wives, Barbara Murry Matthews and Darlene Carcasio Matthews, several brothers and sisters. He is survived by three daughters, Linda Kelly of Lantana, Florida; Pat Naya of Hollywood, Florida; Laura Matthews of Florence, S.C.; a stepson, Curtis Baggett of Florence, S.C.; five grandchildren, Breana Kelly, Matthew Kelly, Alex Naya, Marc Naya and Sara Naya; two great-grandchildren, Cooper and Layla; many nieces and nephews. . Funeral services will be held Tuesday, October 4, 2011 at 3:00 P.M. at Cain Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Matthews Cemetery directed by Cain Funeral Home.
