Florence, SC Layton Rubin Miles, Jr., 61, of Florence, SC, died on Sunday, August 25, 2013, at MUSC in Charleston, SC. Mr. Miles was born in Florence, SC, a son of Dottie Melton Miles and the late Layton Rubin Miles, Sr. He was predeceased by his father; his son, Michael Jennings Watford; and two sisters, Betty Sansbury and Carol Lynn Turner. He is survived by his mother; his wife, Audrey Carpenter Miles; his daughter, Michelle Watford (Lance) Wilson of Florence, SC; his older brother, David (Bunny) Miles; two younger brothers; and two grandchildren, Keira Wilson and Elise Wilson. The family welcomes visitors the afternoon of Wednesday, August 28th at the family's home. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, August 29th, 2013 at 2:00 PM, at Cain Funeral Home. The family will also receive visitors from 1 - 2:00 PM prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Florence Memorial Gardens, directed by Cain Funeral Home.
