Florence, SC Laurie Gray Hutchinson, 81, of Florence, S.C., died Wednesday, September 11, 2013 at Heritage Home of Florence. She was born in Lake City, S.C., daughter of the late James Duncan Gray, Sr. and the late Mincie Evans Gray. Laurie was employed by Kress Dept. Store, Belk and The Leisure Shop of Florence, SC. She served as a loving wife and mother and was a member of Peace Free Will Baptist Church. Mrs. Hutchinson is predeceased by her parents, a daughter, Julie Ann Hutchinson, one brother James Duncan Gray, Jr., three sisters, Mary Bristow, Ailene Cook and Vera Howard. She is survived by her husband, James H. Hutchinson, Sr. of Florence, S.C.; one son, James H. Hutchinson, Jr. and his wife Susan of Anderson, S.C.; one daughter, Mary Ellen Hutchinson of Florence, S.C.; two brothers, George Gray (Lucille) of Coward, S.C.; Bobby Gray (Gail) of Coward, S.C.; six grandchildren, Brook and Kate Perry; Brittney, Ryan and Victoria Hutchinson and Casey Nocher. A memorial service will be held Saturday, September 14, 2013 at 1:00 P.M. at Peace Free Will Baptist Church, directed by Cain Funeral Home.
