Laura Louise Gaskins-Pigate, 46, of Florence, SC, passed away on Wednesday, May 28, 2025, in a local healthcare facility.  Laura was born in Florence, SC, a daughter of the late Rick Thomas Gaskins and Phyllis Ann Bitzer Gaskins.  She had a love of music, artwork and her friends.  Laura was a loving wife and mother, who loved everyone she met.

Surviving are her loving husband, Lea Phillips Cockfield, Jr., a son, Landon Thomas Pigate, a sister, Andrea M. Gaskins, Goddaughter, Leila Russ and a family friend, Amber Long.

A private service will be held at a later date.  Cain Calcutt Funeral Home is honored to serve the Gaskins-Pigate family.
