Kim “Mayor” Lessmeister, 75, of Florence, passed away on Wednesday, January 14, 2025.
Kim was born in Florence, SC a son of the late Eugene Joseph Lessmeister and Elsie Leona Williams Lessmeister. He was a US Army veteran having served in Vietnam and had worked for Rental Uniform, A1 Medical, and currently for Stericycle. He was a OG member of the Hawg Boyz family and a die hard Notre Dame and New York Yankees fan. Kim loved to barhop on his motorcycle, usually ending up at his favorite hangout, the Circle Fountain, where he loved socializing and never met a stranger. His favorite “Kimism”, he had a body that men feared and women desired.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Eric Lessmeister; and sister, Carol Lessmeister.
Surviving are his wife, Tracy Davison Lessmeister; daughters, Carly, Samantha, and Natalie; goddaughter, Kacey Harwell; grandchild, Cullen; sisters, Barbara (Jim) Lewis and Janet (Al Coward) Lessmeister; sister-in-law, Ronda Lessmeister; and a number of nieces and nephews and special friends.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 – 4:00 pm Saturday, January 17, 2026 at Calcutt-Dowling Funeral Home.
