A memorial service for Kenneth DeForest Heyward, husband of Loretta Luke Heyward will be at 6:00PM Thursday January 21, 2010 in Cain Funeral Home Chapel conducted by Pastor Steve Thompson. The family will receive friends at the funeral home following the service. Mr. Heyward, 59, died Monday January 18, 2010 at his residence. He was born May 1, 1950 in Florence to the late Mildred Heyward. He was also predeceased by a sister and step-brother. Surviving, in addition to his wife, are: daughters, Susan (Joseph) Benton of Florence and Kim Goodman of Orangeburg; sons, Kenneth Heyward II of Olanta, Kevin (Stephanie) Goodman of El Paso, TX and Shawn Heyward of Orangeburg; step-son, James (Cathy) Achee of Pamplico; step-daughters, Heather Achee, of LA and Vikki (Elton) Carter of Florence and Katrina (Paul) Parker of Timmonsville, nineteen grandchildren; four great grandchildren; six sisters and two brothers.
