Kathy Doreen Drew

Kathy Doreen Drew, 74, of Florence, passed away on Monday, June 8, 2026.

Mrs. Drew was born in Tuscola, IL a daughter of the late William Hugh Olehy and Imadeen Ruth Lewis Olehy. She worked in the business office for the Carle Clinic Hospital Association in Urbania, IL. Kathy loved her family and friends. She enjoyed being in her yard, creating magical spaces. She was very creative in so many ways. She loved animals and had a special love for hummingbirds. Kathy had a special love for the beach.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Kenny Drew; brothers, Paul (Susan) Myles, Don Myles, and Jimmy Olehy; sister, Karen (Dave) Fugua; and brother-in-law, Walt Hale.

Surviving are her daughter, Sherrie (Adam) Frame; son, Michael (Debbie) Butler; grandchildren, Christopher (Sarah) Duncan, Dustin Thompson (fiancée Masey), Kayla Butler, and Jessica (Gage) Norton; great-grandchildren, Peyton Kathleen Duncan and Christopher William Hugh Duncan; brother, Larry (Judy) Myles; sister, Sherrill Hale; a number of nieces and nephews and her feline companion, Lamb Chop.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a Humane Society of your choice in her honor.

There will be a graveside service on July 3, 2026 at 11:00 am at Bailey Cemetery in Tolono, Illinois. Later her family will have a Celebration of Life at Myrtle Beach.
