Julia Strawn of Florence, SC, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, September 10th at 1am after a brief illness. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Strawn, also of Florence. She is the mother of David (Cathie) Strawn and Chad (Jill) Strawn. Her grandchildren include Rachel (Ben) Gillespie, Alex Strawn, and Emily Strawn. A family led memorial service will be held at 7:00 PM on Monday, September 12, 2016 at Grace Baptist Church. The family will receive visitors at the church one hour prior to the service. The family would like to thank the staff at McLeod Hospice and to Grace Baptist Church for all their compassion and care given to Mrs. Strawn.
