A graveside funeral service for Judy Ann Shuman Pate, wife of Jerome "Jerry" Pate, will be at , 2:00PM, Wednesday, June 10, 2009, in Singletary Cemetery, Coward, conducted by Rev. Danny Stone. Memorials may be made to American Diabetes Association, 2711 Middleburg Drive, Suite 205, Columbia, SC 29204. Mrs. Pate, 63, died Monday, June 8, 2009, in a local hospital. She was born October 27, 1945, daughter of Rev. L. J. Shuman, Jr and the late Meda Chandler Shuman. Surviving, in addition to her father and husband both of Florence, are: daughter, Donna Miller of Darlington; grandchildren, Mindi Leigh Abbott and Austin Shane Miller; sister, Meda Branton of Charleston; several nieces, great-niece and nephews.
