Florence, S.C. Joseph Nathaniel Webb, 85, of Florence, S.C., died Thursday, April 26, 2012 at Carolina's Hospital System in Florence, S.C. He was born in Florence, S.C., a son of the late Samuel Maurice and Faye Cooke Webb. Mr. Webb served his country in United States Army during WW2. He was a member of the First Baptist Church and a member of the Florence Veterans Breakfast Gang. He is predeceased by his parents, a son, Palmer M. Webb, two brothers and two sisters. He is survived by his wife, Elease Norton Webb of Florence, S.C., one daughter, JoAnn Williams and her husband Edsel of Britton's Neck, S.C.; one son, Marion L. "Spyder" Webb of Florence, S.C.; one brother, Thomas C. Webb of Sneeds Ferry, N.C.; four grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held Sunday, April 29, 2012 at 3:00 P.M. at the Florence Veterans Park, 601 Woody Jones Blvd in Florence, S.C., directed by Cain Funeral Home.
