Mr. Joseph Richard Adelard Trudeau, 68, died January 5, 2011, in Florence, SC. He was born September 20, 1942, in Woonsocket, RI, to Ida Guilbault Trudeau, and the late Olivier Trudeau. A celebration of his life will be held at a later date. Richard was a member of the National Rifle Association, and a former member of Moree's Hunting Preserve. He was an avid hunter, fisherman, and gunsmith. Before moving to Florence, SC he had resided in Morton, IL. He had a terrific sense of humor, loved life, and loved celebrations. Richard used his experiences and knowledge to touch so many lives. Survivors include: daughter, Karen Beth Trudeau of Florence, SC; sister, Paulette (Peter) Wilson of Waxhaw, NC; brothers, Francis (Jocelyne) Trudeau of Gap, France, and Donald (Angela) Trudeau of Blaine, MN; and several nieces and nephews.
