John James McAdams "Jimmy", 58, of Florence, SC, passed away peacefully on May 8, 2025.  He was born on October 30, 1966 in Austin, TX, however he spent the majority of his life in residing in Florence. He was preceded in death by his father, William Edward McAdams and his mother, Judith "Jo" Baltenbach Via.

Jimmy worked at Crown Beverages for over 15 years as a salesman and then went into business for himself doing landscaping.  Outside of work, he enjoyed golfing, hunting, and fishing.  Everyone that knew him saw his hard work ethic and knew that he would do anything for anyone.

He is survived by his son, Hunter James McAdams.

The family will receive friends for visitation and remembrances from 5-7 PM on Thursday, May 22, 2025 at Cain Calcutt Funeral Home.
