It is with sadness that we announce the passing of John Ian "Bubba" Zielinski of Florence, S.C. on March 21, 2023.  He was born in Florence, SC, on December 5, 1979, to the late Johnny Zielinski and former Glenda Carnes Zielinski.  Bubba attended West Florence High School and studied at Florence Darlington Technical College.  He had an independent spirit and did not allow anything to deter him.  He played baseball, took karate, had a surfboard, loved pool, jogged, enjoyed watching movies and playing video games.  Most importantly, he loved his family and being an uncle.  He would ask the question, "Is there anything else I can do for you?", and not ask for anything in return.

Bubba was predeceased by his father, Johnny Zielinski, and his sister, Jennifer (Tyler) Zielinski.  He is survived by his mother, Glenda (Francis) Greco, his stepmother, Donna (Mitchell) Cox, and loved family members; Matthew Zielinski, Hunter (Indy) Zielinski, Lindsey (Travis) Haselden, Heather (Jerry) Woodberry, Jennifer (John) Lynch, Justin (April) Bateman and Genie Zielinski.

All are welcome to attend a graveside memorial service directed by Cain Calcutt Funeral Home at 11:00 AM on Saturday, April 1, 2023 at the Mount Hope Cemetery in Florence, S.C.
