John M Hoffman 78, of Hartsville, S. Carolina was born on November 8, 1946 in Wilkes Barre, Pa. He lived most of his life in Carteret and Edison, New Jersey before moving to Hartsville 15 years ago. He was predeceased by his loving wife Wilma to who he was married to for nearly 50 years. He was also predeceased by his parents Mary and John Hoffman.

John worked at Twin County Grocers and Barton Nursery in Edison, New Jersey. He enjoyed many trips to Las Vegas Nevada with his wife Wilma and looked forward to family reunions in Las Vegas. Everyone who knew John loved him for his generous, happy, loving personality. He will always remain in the hearts and memories of his family and friends. He will be greatly missed.

Surviving are his daughter Dana Rodgers, stepson Gary D'Andrea(Karen), sisters Karen Hoffman and Maureen Schmidt(Fred), 6 grandchildren, Logan, Kyle, Kaylin, Christopher, Daniel and Jonathan; 6 great grandchildren; a number of nieces, nephews and great nieces and great nephews.

A graveside service will be held for John and his late wife Wilma at a later date at St. Vincent's Cemetery, Larksville, Pa. Cain Calcutt Funeral Home is honored to serve the Hoffman Family.
